Sequence by Amouage is a Woody Floral Musk fragrance for Women & Men . An olfactory expression of the value of time. Crafted through a revolutionary process: a double-infusion with sandalwood and artisanal oakwood barrels. Each fragrance is highly concentrated, containing 30% pure perfume oils, and underwent a meticulous six-month aging process, including a double infusion with sandalwood chips and oakwood barrels, resulting in a deep, layered scent experience. Housed in a new bottle – the first new design introduced by Amouage in 15 years – the Essences represent a pinnacle of olfactory artisanship. Sequence by perfumer Julien Rasquinet Time moves in cycles, and the circle embodies the sublime return of all things. Lush lychee and raspberry capture the sweetness of life, while saffron adds a red touch. In the heart, osmanthus and rose bloom anew, their richness deepened by tonka bean. **Sequence** opens in a dry, sparkling register, where the citrus light of bergamot is quickly wrapped in spicy cardamom and the warm red glow of saffron. After a few minutes, the fragrance moves inward to a more meditative heart: incense brings cool smoky volume, while rose and iris soften the structure with a velvety, powdery touch. Cypriol adds a dark, slightly woody-earthy accent that makes the center feel deeper and more austere. On skin, the trail gradually warms as sandalwood turns creamy, patchouli stays dry and clean, and amber gives off a soft resinous glow. The leather facet never becomes loud; it appears instead as a fine texture that keeps the whole composition poised.
