**Amouage Lustre** opens with a bright, spicy shimmer: the citrus freshness of bergamot is quickly lifted by cardamom and dry, almost sparkling pink pepper. After a few minutes, the fragrance moves into a softer, velvety heart where rose and jasmine sambac create a dense floral weave, while iris adds a cool powdery nuance. Incense appears in the middle as a fine veil rather than a church-like cloud, more mineral than solemn, keeping the composition from turning overly sweet. In the base, warm amber meets creamy sandalwood and earthy patchouli, and the trail grows deeper and more composed. Musk and vanilla smooth the edges, leaving a sleek, faintly resinous trace on skin. It wears as a confident, noticeable scent with medium to high projection in the first hours and solid longevity. It feels especially right in cool weather and in the evening, when you want an elegant presence without sharpness.
