Line 618 by Amouage is a Woody fragrance for Women & Men . An olfactory expression of the value of time. Crafted through a revolutionary process: a double-infusion with sandalwood and artisanal oakwood barrels. Each fragrance is highly concentrated, containing 30% pure perfume oils, and underwent a meticulous six-month aging process, including a double infusion with sandalwood chips and oakwood barrels, resulting in a deep, layered scent experience. Housed in a new bottle – the first new design introduced by Amouage in 15 years – the Essences represent a pinnacle of olfactory artisanship. Line 618 by perfumer Nathalie Lorson. Fragrance in constant motion, the line stretches like a horizon: vast, uninterrupted, yet ever-changing. A surprising fusion of smoky frankincense and lactonic accord combined with bright fruits (pineapple, peach, plum) opens the composition, leading into a heart of pine and heliotrope, evoking landscape s of endless roads and forests. **Amouage Line 618** opens with a dry flash of citrus and spice: bergamot brings light, while pink pepper and cardamom add tension and depth from the first breath. Very quickly, a cool ribbon of olibanum appears — not churchlike, but mineral, like air above sun-warmed stone after sunset. In the heart, iris softens the sharper edges with a powdery shadow, while saffron feels warm and faintly leathery beside it. The rose is not floral in any easy sense; it is darker, touched with a resinous bitterness that links the heart to the base. As it settles, the fragrance moves into a dense trail of incense and leather, held upright by vetiver so the composition stays taut rather than diffuse. Amber and sandalwood add bodily warmth, making the smoke gentler and closer to the skin. It wears with calm persistence: graphic and contrasting at first, then deep, steady and almost meditative.
