**Menace** opens with dry bergamot, pink pepper and saffron, then settles into an unsweet rose over cedar, incense, amber and vetiver.
**Menace** opens with a dry, almost sparkling strike of bergamot and pink pepper, sharpened by a spicy shadow of saffron. After a few minutes it warms on the skin, and at the centre a rose appears without sweetness—more velvety than lush, edged with the slight bitterness of geranium and a trace of incense smoke. Cedar keeps the structure upright, drawing a clean woody line through the composition without any powdery blur. As it settles, patchouli and amber add density rather than weight, while sandalwood rounds the sharper corners. Vetiver in the base leaves a dry, faintly earthy trail that gives the fragrance a grown, disciplined character. It wears especially well in the evening and in cool air, when the spices feel fuller and more dimensional. **Menace** does not shout: it stays close to the skin and unfolds slowly, like dark fabric under soft light.
