Oud Seven opens with dry saffron and a bergamot-citrus spark that quickly gives way to a dense woody theme. In the heart, smoky birch tar, tobacco leaf, vetiver and violet greenery keep the scent from turning rough or overly animalic. The oud feels dark and confident yet controlled, supported by labdanum and cypriol for resinous depth. In the base, amber and patchouli warm the trail while preserving a dry woody structure.
