After a few minutes it turns deeper and warmer: the rose slips into velvet, while resinous incense and a faint green edge of geranium come forward. On skin, the composition moves slowly and with composure, carrying an oriental shadow without any sticky sweetness. At its heart, it feels closer to a dark rose attar than to a fresh bouquet; the petals here are thick, almost oily in texture. The base lasts well, with amber and sandalwood rounding the sharper edges, while patchouli lays a dry earth beneath the flowers. In the trail, soft oud and musk appear, leaving a calm, warm impression. It suits evening and cool air, when depth and texture matter more than volume.
