Amouage Honour Man was released in 2011 and is built around a dry, spicy pepper core. The opening is a duo of black pepper and pink pepper: sharp, clean, and unsweetened. In the heart, the spice turns warmer with nutmeg, while geranium and elemi add a green-resinous contour. The base settles into incense and vetiver on a woody Virginia cedar structure, with musk smoothing the edges. Patchouli and tonka bean give the trail more body, yet the profile stays focused, spicy, and woody.
