**Montale Red Aoud** opens with a dry, spicy accord where saffron and cumin create a warm, almost leathery heat, while a brief spark of bergamot quickly fades. After a few minutes it grows denser and darker, and at the center you catch a rose stripped of sweetness, edged with earthy patchouli. The oud here is not resinous or smoky; it feels woody, firm, almost like a polished dark plank. Vetiver draws a dry, slightly bitter line through the composition, keeping it from collapsing into syrup. On skin, the trail lasts for hours: amber and musk soften the angles, yet the perfume keeps its строгий, structured character.
