**Montale Honey Aoud** opens thick and immediate: syrupy honey, dusted with spicy cinnamon, settles over dark oud wood. In the first minutes it feels resinous and full, veiled in a soft sweet smoke rather than any sharp medicinal edge. As it moves into the heart, the scent grows warmer and more tactile, with leather and patchouli adding grain while amber smooths the transitions. In the drydown it turns vanilla-woody, deep and slightly earthy, with a faint incense-like aftertaste. Projection is noticeable, especially in cool weather, and the staying power is usually strong, lingering well into the evening and even longer on fabric.
