Montale Aoud Night opens with a dry strike of oud and citrus: bergamot and Sicilian lemon create a sharp, almost sparkling start. After a few minutes, a dark rose appears on skin, and the composition grows denser and more resinous through patchouli. In the heart, it moves into a woody-leathery accord where the oud feels less piercing and more rounded. In the drydown, sandalwood and guaiac wood soften the frame and add warm, slightly smoky texture. White musk and amber keep the trail clean but not sterile, with a visible animalic shadow.
