About
"We have here a perfume that speaks of the fire-god of Persia and the gods of India, the worship of offerings, Mesopotamia, milk and clarified butter to honor the gods. And to remember, by a wake in the air, the foaming whiteness of the soul that comes from everything. Here, perfume is soul, soul is perfume. A creamy explosion, where musk intermingles with iris butter and transmits the powerful balm of vanilla, followed by the friction of Tonka against benzoin." - A Note from the Brand
**Soul Of My Soul** opens with a cool spark of bergamot and the dry shimmer of incense, like light entering a half-dark room. Within minutes the pepper recedes, leaving a soft iris at the center, powdery and almost velvety in texture. The rose is neither honeyed nor loud; it brings a damp, living contour that keeps the composition from turning overly dry. A suede accord settles the scent close to the skin and gives it a calm, bodily warmth without sharp edges. In the trail, benzoin and amber grow warmer, releasing a resinous sweetness that recalls the warm fabric of a scarf after an evening walk. Near the base, vanilla and sandalwood smooth the contrasts, while patchouli adds depth and a faint shadow. It wears close, yet lasts remarkably well, especially on fabric and in cool air.
