Above the Waves opens with bright bergamot and a dry frankincense edge that sets a cool, composed rhythm from the first minutes. In the heart, the tea accord takes the lead: oolong, Ceylon tea, and green maté feel transparent and leafy, with a soft rose line between them. The scent stays in a green, spicy register and avoids sugary turns even when tonka appears. In the base, cedar and vetiver give the trail a smooth, slightly smoky structure that remains clean through the drydown. Projection is moderate: noticeable at arm’s length first, then closer to the skin. It suits days when you want calm focus instead of heavy perfume texture. It performs best in mild weather and warm seasons, especially for office hours and unhurried walks.
