Tubereuse Imperiale
About
Here, solar tuberose feels less like sweet cream and more like a clear floral silhouette over woods and resins. Vanilla and benzoin soften the edges, while incense and cypress keep the line dry and poised. It leaves a warm, calm trail toward evening.
Tubereuse Imperiale opens with green geranium and the herbal, slightly bitter shade of rosebay willowherb, giving the start a dry and composed character. After a few minutes, Indian tuberose moves to the center: dense, solar, and creamy-white, yet not syrupy. Ylang-ylang and two jasmine tones add a soft, rounded floral wave, while iris brings a powdery coolness that keeps the composition balanced. In the base, Madagascar vanilla and benzoin make the trail warmer and gently balsamic. Sandalwood, cashmeran, patchouli, incense, and cypress build a woody frame with calm depth rather than loud projection. The overall impression is floral-sweet with an oriental undertone, especially fitting for evening wear in cool spring and autumn. It suits those who enjoy tuberose in a more structured style, where florals rest on resinous woods.
