Interlude Man opens with a sharp contrast: the green bitterness of oregano and dry pepper is quickly lit by a flash of bergamot. Very soon it moves into a dense incense heart, where smoky resins feel rich and structured. Opoponax and labdanum add warm balsamic depth, while amber rounds the edges and keeps the composition cohesive. In the base, oud, leather, sandalwood, and patchouli create a dark, dry, long-lasting trail with a woody-smoky focus. In character, it is a bold spicy-woody fragrance with noticeable projection, especially convincing in cooler weather.
