**Amouage Amber** opens with a warm, spicy flare: bergamot gives a dry spark, while cardamom and cinnamon quickly add depth and texture. Within minutes it turns softer and more shadowed; rose and jasmine appear in the heart, not as bright florals but as a velvety dusk behind incense. Patchouli keeps the structure taut, bringing an earthy shade and a gentle bitter edge. In the drydown, amber moves forward—resinous, warm, almost honeyed—with a creamy vanilla lining underneath. Sandalwood and cedar smooth the base into an even, quiet finish, while musk leaves a clean warmth close to the skin. In cold air it wears drier and more transparent; indoors it becomes denser and softer, ideal for unhurried evenings.
