Turkish Rose
Turkish rose smells rich, velvety, and deep pink, with honeyed petals, fresh dew, soft spice, and a plush jammy glow that never loses its floral grace. Compared with lighter rose materials, it often feels fuller and more romantic, with a faint shadow of tea, fruit, and skin. In perfume it appears in rose soliflores, orientals, chypres, oud blends, and fruity florals, where it can be both classical and dramatic. Turkish rose softens smoke and gives woods a red, luminous heart. It sings in Yves Saint Laurent Paris, where rose turns radiant and feminine, and in Le Labo Rose 31, where it meets spice and woods in a darker, modern frame.
