Burdél is a word typical of our town’s dialect. It means "boys and girls" or “kids” but only those full of life and with joy in their hearts. That carefree youth who, like all of us throughout our lives, are simply in search of happiness! The cinematographic work whose singular title Amarcord means “I remember” in dialect, tells the story of these carefree young people from Romagna. Curious to discover life, their journey fluctuates between dream and reality, in an insight into one of the most complex and complicated moments in Italian history.
