Burdél is a word typical of our town’s dialect. It means "boys and girls" or “kids” but only those full of life and with joy in their hearts. That carefree youth who, like all of us throughout our lives, are simply in search of happiness! The cinematographic work whose singular title Amarcord means “I remember” in dialect, tells the story of these carefree young people from Romagna. Curious to discover life, their journey fluctuates between dream and reality, in an insight into one of the most complex and complicated moments in Italian history. Among the Oscar winning films of the great director Federico Fellini, Amarcord is by far the one that best describes the land where Paolo and Tiziana were born, grew up and breathed in the air of the Terenzi Dolce Vita. A sweet and dreamlike spirit that has always characterized the personal and professional paths of the two inseparable siblings.
