**Promise** opens with dense, almost crisp apple lit by a flash of pepper that gives the composition tension and direction from the first seconds. After a few minutes, the scent grows warmer: the cool edge of rosemary recedes, and at the center a rich rose rises — not airy, but dark and velvety. Two shades of rose create volume here: one feels honeyed and deep, the other drier and more spiced, like petals rubbed between the fingers. Carnation adds a faint shadow and a dry warmth, keeping the floral heart from tipping into sweetness. In the base, **Promise** turns earthy and resinous: patchouli and cypriol lend an almost leathered texture, while cistus and ambroxan shape a long, even trail. On skin it wears with quiet confidence and changes slowly, moving from a spiced opening to dark rose and soft ambered woods.
