Amber Oud
About
By Kilian Amber Oud wears dry, spicy, and warm: bay leaf and cedar give the opening a slight sharpness, while vanilla and benzoin soften the heart. Amber and woody oud remain in the base, leaving a calm evening trail with moderate projection.
By Kilian Amber Oud opens dry and spicy: bay leaf and a cedar edge set a slightly sharp, almost medicinal tone right away. In the first minutes, oud appears more as a hint and does not dominate the composition. Then it softens, and vanilla with benzoin emerge in the heart, adding warm resinous sweetness without stickiness. In the drydown, an amber body remains with a woody oud trail, soft, calm, and fairly long-lasting on skin. Projection is moderate rather than loud, so it stays close to the wearer. It suits a cold evening, a wool coat, and an unhurried pace when you want an oriental accent with a dry profile.
