Burberry
Body
About
Burberry Body opens with the dry bite of wormwood and the soft sweetness of peach, then melts into creamy sandalwood, iris and a quiet rose. Musk, vanilla, amber and cashmere wood stay close to the skin in a warm, smooth trail.
Burberry Body was released in 2011 and created by Michel Almairac. It opens with a sparkling, gently bitter effect: wormwood dries the sweetness of peach, while freesia brings a sheer floral brightness. In the heart, the scent turns calmer and creamier, with rose kept delicate beside sandalwood and iris. In the retrieved sources, sandalwood and cashmere wood are described as especially prominent, so the composition settles quite quickly into a smooth woody-musky texture. In the base, musk, vanilla and amber create a warm, creamy trail without excessive weight. On skin, it suits someone who prefers restrained sensuality and soft woods over loud sweetness. It feels most convincing on a cool day, in the evening, or whenever a close, composed fragrance with a long calm finish is needed.
